Silverado Squatters

Robert Louis Stevenson fell in love with his wife Fanny in Europe. They both braved illness and oceans before reuniting in California, then marrying in San Francisco. This song is inspired by the honeymoon jaunt they took in Napa Valley - cavorting in the very mountains where I spent my teen years. The song is called "Silverado Squatters" after the book by that same title, which chronicles their honeymoon adventure in Napa.
