Biography
I've always wanted to live by the beach and spend my days in musical endeavors, and now I do. I reside about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas in Baja California for most of the year and spend my summers in the States working my craft. I like the sound of that, and it's way better than doing construction work. I recorded the cd with Shawn O'Neill and Dave Hutcheson in their Mountain Magico Studios here in Pescadero. The 11 original songs speak to the perils of life and love in these interesting times. They're mostly written in the first person, but thank God, they're not all about me!

    Some say my voice is unique and unmistakably mine. But I'm often asked if do any John Prine and people say I make them think of Pete Seeger. I'll take that.
  • Influences:
    I'm a big Chris Smither fan. I've studied his playing and writing and I hope some has rubbed off. The understated style of Guy Clark is another influence.
