Children At The Beach

On an autumn day playing in the bay, two children at the shore
On a sandy beach learning how to teach themselves of natures lore
Watching sea gulls fly in a windy sky they find a paradise

Running hand in hand playing in the sand passing time in the sun
Losing track of time singing children’s rhymes all day for everyone
Swimming in the sea laughing joyously living in harmony

Recalling those years the joys and the tears that go with innocence
It would be no sin to have them all again and live in youthfulness
A lesson to us turn around the bus as children call to us
