This track is inspired by an LP I picked up in late 2021 of the incredible Gambian Kora player Alhaji Bai Konte. I was taken with the modality, rhythms and the old time adjacent nature of the music on his record and wanted to capture a little of that spirit in a fiddle tune of my own. -George
