"Gimme Back My Honky Tonk"
"Lamenting the cost of five-dollar beers in places that charge too much in exchange for the upper- crust atmosphere, like fancy curtains and table clothes, and fru-fru drinks, this is a plea for two- for-one cold ones and a bucket of peanuts. We had a blast recording this one and it’s even more fun to sing on the road."
An ode to the attraction and allure of a local watering hole, this is a search and pursuit of finding a comfortable place on a bar stool and the lost and found revival of a honky tonk with “a jukebox and a country song.”
