The song that almost didn't make the album is the one where the title comes from. This song is newer than most we play and comes more from the folk tradition, being written by Kentucky ballad singer Jean Ritchie.

Our recording engineer, Bruce Lang, supplies the bowed upright bass to round out this haunting melody.
