Don't You Dare

This song was written for a close friend of ours named Shawn Kelly. His father Kim, was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the sinus cavity, & despite fighting it for nearly 2 years, ultimately succumbed to the disease.

This was earth shattering for Shawn, and he deeply struggled with the idea of an all-powerful God letting someone he loved so much, who was such a faithful and God-fearing man, simply pass out of this life under such a dark and dreadful decease.

fROMdUST wrote this song out of a desire to help Shawn and others remember that even when life throws it's worst at us, there is still hope through God. That although Shawn's father is gone for now, he will one day be reunited with him again in eternity.

Even though in this life we experience hardships, trials, pains, & sickness, - we have someone who's defeated all of that - Christ.
