A Long Time

Here is a little pop rock tune with some retro feel and some nice feel to the hook line. This song is about wanted to get over being sick and making music again after a long wait on the bench.

This song came was written on the spot and as a fill in tune. It came very quickly and it's all Eurorack but one thing. The guitar solo is a friend who contributed it. May be Rob James or Sheck. Cannot recall. The idea was that all the old friends would join in and contribube to this tune. Thing was a left little room for that because I got exited and carried away that I almost finished her that day.

Well I bought this old beat up piano, and got it tuned but prior to that I took it all apart, re painted it and cleaned out the interior. Then I got it professionally tuned. And I tuned it myself as well. One day I woke up and started playing this tune that came right out of my head on the piano. I got the idea for the ringing starting piano chord because I was testing the piano. While I could get a good sound of of my electronic piano too I was interested in recording this thing live to see what the out come would be. In the process I hammered out this tune and all the instruments where live but there was some none life stuff I used to help out too.
