"Where Did the Time Go" was inspired about a family story of an Indian princess who married a Long Hunter. Her husband called her Delilah. In 1820 they divorced and her husband remarried soon after. Her children were raised among the white settlers. Delilah lost her children, her home and way of life as the white culture became dominant and hers was wiped away.
