Seasons Change
Seasons Change
Down the wind swept hall, remembering faces
Through the corridor, I dreamed of places
Both far and near, all I believed in
Everything that we hold dear is bound for leavin’
Seasons change, and while we sleep the summer fades to winter’s gray
And passing on down the gravel road,
Saw the house up on that hill, begin to corrode
Every piece of shattered glass, burns in my mind
And all that’s come to pass, all we leave behind
Seasons change, and while we sleep the summer fades to winter’s gray
On and on it goes, some things we can never know
Time goes fast, time goes slow, sometimes we gotta walk alone
Seasons change, people change love grows cold and strange
We grow old, lives rearrange, try not to go insane
Outside a was is waged, and we live like animals caged,
But it’s the dawning of a new age, and I cannot control this rage
Speak up, speak out, if you have to shout,
We go things to talk about, we got issues to figure out
Future of the world in doubt,
Shattered, torn, and disgraced, at the hands of the human race,
Rapidly increasing pace, problems we now must face
Scream, cry, sing like a bird, let your lonely voice be heard
To everything turn, turn, turn. there is a season turn, turn, turn
Turn, turn, turn
Seasons change, and while we sleep the summer fades to winter’s gray
Seasons change, seasons change, seasons change
