Eddie’s Brother releases single ‘Alice and Johnny’
Eddie’s Brother releases his new single ‘Alice and Johnny’ from his album ‘Marineville’. The song is a sweet but also sad love story between to people, Alice and Johnny. Johnny wants to ‘talk to [Alice]’ but ‘she won’t wait. With the soothing and raspy voice of Eddie’s Brother, accompanied with a sweet guitar riff, this song is a definite must on your playlist. You will find yourself humming along and falling in love with this song.
Having sounds similar to City and Colour and Jack Johnson, this song has a lovely tune that will stay in your head for the rest of the day. A song about love and loss that speaks true and sweet at the same time is hard to come by without sounding cliché. Coming from a first person perspective looking over the lives of Alice and Johnny, this song sings of how people can see the heartache of love from the outside.

ABOUT Eddie’s Brother
People used to tell Eddie's Brother that he would get the recognition he deserved- the problem was they all tended this would happen after he died!
It isn't as if he hasn't made a name for himself, established as the bespectacled artist with no formal music training. A pocket biography will tell you of his dislocated childhood growing up in care, the son of an errant jazz violinist. There's always been a sense that Eddie's Brother (Born Chris French, yes he does have a brother called Eddie) relishes his outsider status.
His influences include Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Arthur Lee, Frank Zappa, and all the John Peel show artists, especially The Smiths.
