Drip Rock Kentucky
Writer: Timothy Wade Raybon

When I met her it was hotter than blue blazes
And where I was nothing could be found
I lost all the time I was makin
When my truck over heated and broke down
She was standing by the side of the highway
She checked her mail then she checked on me
I asked her where I was, she said, it aint much
But around we call it DRIP ROCK KENTUCKY

We haven't had a drop of rain since April
And the rivers around here have all run dry
I would leave here today if I were able
But I guess im gonna stay here till i die

The tears started fallen down then she apologize
You know I have lived here all my life
I just want someone to hold so deserately
That day she poured out her heart
In DRIP ROCK KENTUCKY

And the rivers around here have all run dry
I would leave here today if I were able
But I guess im gonna stay here till i die

I just want someone to hold so desperately
