That's What Using Drugs Can Do

I saw my sister on the street, I saw my sister on the street , I saw my sister on the street
But she didn’t know that I knew, she had no home or food to eat.
That’s what using drugs can do; that’s what using drugs can do! That’s what using drugs can do
But she didn’t know that I knew, she had no home or food to eat.

Narrate (WITH MUSIC):
My sister was a beautiful young woman. She had continued her education and became a registered nurse. She acquired a nice home, a fancy car; and maintained a substantial bank account. She was married with three wonderful boys. But, after a heartbreaking divorce, my sister was introduced to drugs. She became addicted. She did whatever it took to support her drug habit. And in the process, she lost everything she had—the big house, the fancy car, the money in the bank—her children—she even lost her life.

That’s what using drugs can do; that’s what using drugs can do! That’s what using drugs can do! That’s what using drugs can do. But she didn’t know that I knew, she had no home or food to eat.

PLEASE stay away from drugs. Those people who are trying to introduce you to drugs are not your friends. Don’t destroy your life, —don’t destroy the people you love, and don’t destroy the people who love you. Don’t make the same mistakes that my sister made. Don’t let anyone or anything persuade you to use drugs. If you are selling drugs, or using drugs--don’t deny –don’t hide it--seek help NOW!
