I see her in the shadows cast by candlelight
The satin sheets just complement her form
Looking at her and longing for the pleasures of the night
As I pull her close her touch is soft and warm

But her body just can’t get you off my mind
I thought that just one night with her would put my past behind
Lord knows she’s lovely, a rare and precious find
Though she’s beautiful her body just can’t get you off my mind

My fingers start to tremble as I softly touch her skin
She just seems to melt in my embrace
On her lips is a whisper some might consider a sin
One more glass of wine and I’ll let’er try and take your place

Her body just can’t get you off my mind
