album note: My friend Billy Applegate drove out to Tennessee (from Texas) to take a truck back he didn't want ... to pay for. A bus ticket back was 150 bucks. Bill was broke, so a buddy sold him an '83 purple Pontiac for a hundred dollars. He also threw in a case of moonshine from his uncle in North Carolina. When Billy got back he sold the shine for 20 bucks a jar and the car for $300. True story. I still have half a jar left. I think I'll have some now.
