Jim Iler and I met in 1981 at Georgia Southern. Our mutual respect and love of the Stanley Brothers, Keith Whitley and Ricky Skaggs drew us together musically. When J.D. Crowe released the Hall of Fame album, I thought it didn’t get any better. Keith Whitley loved George Jones, and Jim Iler loved George and Keith. Here he does what I think is a fine tribute to them with this remake!
