On The Night Train

This is the other GW Staton-induced song. The assigned title was simply "Night Train". I pictured a painful reuniting with the fragile hope that this time around maybe we'll get it right. Nick's lap steel brings to mind the squeal of the steel wheels down the track, while Ian's honky-tonk piano really brings out the Americana flavor it needs. BTW, I prefer the Ann Arbor Amtrak station to the Pontiac one, but Pontiac rhymed better...
