Walking Time

This is the first of two songs written for GW Staton's "For Song Sake" competition; this one didn't win, but if they heard this version instead of the subtle acoustic version the judges might have been persuaded differently.

I was assigned the title "Walking Time", and for me it conjured up images of particular points in life where I had to make a decision - should I stay or should I go (to quote The Clash). Redeem the time, folks, because the days are evil. Wherever you need to get there, head out now, because it's walking time.
