The Story Behind The Song:
“He Made You For Me” is co-written by award-winning bluegrass songstress Donna Ulisse. Lyrics including “God put the bluegrass in Kentucky… down in Mississippi he laid the cotton fields”, “He thought to lay the lonesome in the hollers, and put a sad song across the old Blueridge”, “Made this old wooden box to hold these shiny strings”, all capture the beauty of bluegrass and the the beauty of relationships. Throughout the song, you can feel and hear the magical lyrical touch of Donna Ulisse, as it completely warms your heart.

Featuring the musical wizardry of notable Nashville musicians including Andy Leftwich (fiddle and mandolin), Wanda Vick Burchfield (dobro and banjo), Shaun Richardson (acoustic guitar), Mark Burchfield (upright bass), and Victoria Burchfield and Deano Graham (background vocals).
