Omniscient Flames
Breathe, when you think there’s no air, you can find that it’s there, hiding just above your Ocean
From the deep you must weave, up through the surface you tear, hold your breath if you dare, asphyxiation’s a notion

some swim thru an endless sea
searching what they’ll never be
some climb but they never reach
perching on the host they leech
some hold just to pull you down
they loose what they never found
some think what they never say
they wait for a better day
some trust just in what they’re told
accepting all that unfolds
some speak but they never hear
they miss what’s just disappeared
some hide what they fear they are
they show who they really are
some take what can’t be returned
wheels of pain forever turn

But Into the mist we will go
In through the darkness we’ll flow
Suddenly sparkles of light
Appear illuminating bright
And all that we missed we will know
And now even darkness will glow
Omniscient flames will ignite
As consciences burn set alight
And all that is left will be right

Breath, through the fathoms of air, down through the water you stare, now your reflection is motion,
From the surface you leave, soaring high up to where, filling lungs with no cares, is your magical potion

Some ache for infinity
They’re denied for eternity
Some don’t learn the words they preach
They fail what they cannot teach
Some frown down from higher ground
But make no sound watchin’ you drown
Some hurt ‘til every seventh day
Then they just pray their sins away
Some know turns they take are wrong
They don’t turn back but carry-on
Some like to adjudicate
While their own acts they perpetrate
Who knows how to live this life
But you know if you’ve lived it right
Mistake but never regret they say
Forgive but never forget no way

Suddenly sparkles of light
Appear illuminating bright
And all that we missed we will know
And now even darkness will glow
Omniscient flames will ignite
As consciences burn set alight
‘Cos into the mist we all go
Right in through the darkness we’ll flow
And Suddenly sparkles of light
Appearing before us just might
And all that is left will be right
