Biography
Davide Pannozzo was born in Formia, a small town in Center Italy, and is currently considered by critics and the public one of the most interesting artist of contemporary blues guitar.

Growing up in the rhythm of Jimi Hendrix, thanks to the parents' shared passion for the Blues, he began studying classical guitar at the age of six years, showing an early age his natural inclination for music.
Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Mike Landau, but also John Scofield and Robben Ford: a new multi-faceted sound that presents a tribute to the old blues of the past with deep roots and a black eye to the new world of music that the millennium just begun, isproposing. Is style is unique: like David Gilmour meets Wayne Krantz.
His talent was recognized by major characters, like Magic Slim and Big Time Sarah, and all lovers of good music, which emphasize not only his technical ability, the result of study and dedication to the music, but also the genius, the naturalness of unawareness to surprise and excite.
Great carmesse festivals which are attended by one of the most precocious talent of Italian blues: June 2000 he opened the concert by Magic Slim ("Davide Pannozzo is one of the best blues guitarists of the new generation! I think is great!!" - Ceccano, July 2003), one of the last great bluesmen of Chicago during the 14 edition of 'Liri Blues Festival', concluded the concert with the American band with great satisfaction by the musicians themselves;
In March of 2001 has the chance to play with Scott Henderson, considered one of the greatest guitarists in the world in today's blues fusion ("really great guitar player ..." - Orvieto, February 2001);

In 2003 he became to teach blues-rock guitar in music school Ritmix in Rome.

In December 2004, the young bluesman lands in the London music scene welcoming the public in favor of the local 'Ain't Nothing But The Blues', one of the most famous blues club in London.

Also in 2004, are chosen by director Francesco Apolloni, some of the tracks (When I Lost You, Love aganist War, I can not stand it) that Davide had written for the recording of the album "Down From The Roots", for the soundtrack of the short film "White Night".

From February 2001 to July 2007 was the leader of a blues-rock band Almost Blue's Band, with which he made a record 'Down From the Roots' in 2003 and in the summer of 2006 the second entitled "Soul & Notes" for Video Radio Label.

In May 2007 he won the semifinal of the Italian most important European festivals for acoustic guitarists, the EMERGENZA ACOUSTIC FESTIVAL, held in Rome at the club JAILBREAK, qualifying for the European final of the competition tenutali in February 2008.
Even the European final, featuring 11 guitarists from the end of all the European capitals, was won by Davide Pannozzo, that after 6 years shows the victory of the festival in Italy.

Thus was born another project, David Pannozzo Acoustic Solo Project, which carries around a repertoire featuring his own compositions, jazz standards and blues, played entirely on acoustic guitar and accompanied only by his voice and a loopstation, which allows to create harmonies and accompanying loop in real time, with extemporaneous improvisations, typical of the young guitarist.

In May 2008 he was invited to participate in the International Jazz Festival in Bucharest (Romania) and in August of that year, with his project Acoustic Solo Project, flies to Germany to play at the Open Air Festival Taubertal Rothenbug.

In October of 2008 has the ability to go to the United States of America, along with bassist Pippo Matino, which invites David to play along with him at Bass Player Live in Los Angeles for the great Italian brand Mark Bass, International exhibition dedicated to top bassists worldwide.

Here he has the chance to play with Danny Gottlieb (Pat Metheney, John Scofield, Mike Stern, etc. ..) in trio with Pippo Matino.

In February 2009, received by Gege Telesforo, at the Groove Master Award, the award for "best guitar talent" of the year.

In July 2009 he graduated in classical guitar with Maestro Arturo Tallini, the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome with a thesis on Bruno Maderna and improvisation in classical and contemporary music.

In September 2009 he joined the orchestra of Maestro Pippo Caruso for TV Show Domenica IN, presented by Pippo Baudo on Rai 1. Here he had the chance to play with many international artists like George Benson, David Garfield, Alex Britti, Carmen Consoli, Fiorella Mannoia and many others.

In 2010, David has worked hard on his music, writing a set of new songs that will soon see the light at the new disks, forthcoming. He has worked in various musical situations including in the pop and rock, working alongside the London-based producer and guitarist Phil Palmer (Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, George Michael).

In June of 2011 with his trio produced the first digital EP Stuff Loud "Absolutely Live" which contains five songs played live, soon gaining a great success of plays and downloads all over the world!

In 2011, thanks to collaboration with the Rome Sinfonietta Orchestra , affects his guitars for the Oscar-winning M ° Luis Bacalov, for the work Mediterranean Harbor, produced by Walt Disney, increasing even more its already enviable luggage music and the arts.

He works in the same year with Maestro Franco Piersanti and Nicola Piovani made in the show at the Auditorium in Rome to celebrate the film talent by Nanni Moretti.
Also in 2011 he made his first teaching method, GUITARlab - Ideas for Contemporary blues guitarists, distributed in the form of ebooks, in Italian and English, the best media store, which offers his vision of modern blues, just getting a significant positive responsewith sales worldwide.

In November of 2011 has played in a tour in the major italian club with keyboardist David Garfield, and his trio Loud Stuff, producer and arranger George Benson, Karizma, Los Lobotomys, Cher, etc...
And now engaged in the production of the first album with the trio Loud Stuff, out in the coming months, almost entirely composed of original songs written by Davide. The disc will also feature a special appearance by special guest of the world's leading international music such as Robben Ford, David Garfield, Carl Verheyen.
