Biography
Beginning with a vocal music scholarship that led to professional theatre gigs, David moved to San Diego to be a part of the seminal grooving punkers, Claude Coma & the IVs. Moving back to his hometown of Bay City, MI led him to play in The Burdons, one of the most popular bands Michigan produced in the 80s, with gigs in such legendary venues as St. Andrew's Hall & Lili's (Detroit), The Loop (Grand Rapids), and The Metro (Cincinnati). From Michigan, David moved to Central Illinois and played with a popular blues band, Lorrie Ann & the 3D Rhythm Band, sharing the stage with blues stalwarts such as Jonny Lang, Lonnie Brooks, Duke Tumatoe, Joanne Connor, and Mississippi Heat.
Now David has embarked on a solo career, with his music being heard on close to 200 radio stations across the U.S. From his 2003 album, The Big Machine, to his 2008 release, One Brother, both marketed by Planetary Group, David has continued to evolve his sound. And now he has released his most polished album to date, working with the highly acclaimed David Weber (producer for Straight No Chaser, among others) and Daryll Hurst, along with mastering engineer Dave Glaser of Airshow to produce the simply titled CD - Nine.
