I had something important to say
But can’t remember what it was
It was right on the tip of my brain
But it just rolled away in a big ball of fuzz

I’m sure it will pop in my head
The minute that I get up to leave
I took a little nap in your bed
And now I can’t seem to find my car keys

Was I always this way
Or am I getting worse as I get older
Sometimes I repeat what I say
Or am I getting worse as I get older
It concerns me. It’s not funny

Sometimes when I walk out the door I go back and I check
To make sure that I locked it
Wait… I think I just found my keys
They’ve been here all along in my jacket pocket
Now I’m leaving I’ll be leaving
