Save Me

Save Me is an up-tempo ballad written produced and performed by Darren Farris: "I think men in general, or at least I do, have trouble revealing and even recognizing our faults and weaknesses. We all have those moments where we fear being alone. Save Me was written during one of those moments. It's the closest thing to a love song that I have written so far. I wanted to keep it up-tempo, but it gets a little sappy. Like most of the songs on this record, we did this one in one take, so you're listening to an actual real moment. I hope that comes across to the listener as well. I felt pretty naked in the studio with this one, without my usual guitar candy or anything."
