Since the release of Danny Paisley’s critically-acclaimed 2021 project Bluegrass Troubadour, the road has taken many twists and turns. Through the good and bad, the 3-time IBMA “Male Vocalist of the Year” has come out even stronger. Available today is his brand new single “What Crosses Your Mind” featuring Sage Palser. The full track is available for download and/or streaming now!

“What Crosses Your Mind” is the first taste of new music, and gives a glimpse of what fans can expect from Danny’s next project. The single was written by David Stewart along with Palser. Its lyrics describe two people who have broken up, and wonder how the other person is doing afterwards. Traditional Bluegrass favorite Danny’s vocals stay true to his one-of-a-kind style which has captivated audiences since taking over as the leader of The Southern Grass in 2004. Up-and-coming songstress Sage Palser’s vocals also shine bright, with many Bluegrass fans likely familiar with her Wyoming based band Prairie Wildfire.

While 2022 proved to be a difficult year for Danny, he has emerged even stronger after recently beating a bout with cancer. He’s currently back on the road touring and eager to share more new music throughout the year. Stay tuned as more details are revealed about the full project, release date, special surprises and more. The official video for “What Crosses Your Mind” has also recently been shot and is expected for release in the coming weeks.
