Weatherman says seven inches of snow
Temperature’s dropping to well past zero
And all tonight, the sky’s droppin’ blankets of white

Daddy starin’ at the clouds turning gray
Says, “dang”, gonna be a waste of a day
If we wake up, to accumulation

Cause if it’s cold enough to snow,
All the pipes will freeze
To that Momma says, “Oh no”,
But to me

Wake up late to a perfect day
Cause the schools are all closed

Daddy dropped down to his knee

That he’d love her every day
Well it was snowin’ that night
