Travis Reid Ball was first introduced to music in the form of Bluegrass and Classic Country.
With family rooted deep throughout the Appalachian Mountain range, he grew up with a appreciation of Appalachian instruments and sounds.
He began playing bass guitar in a family country band in Columbus Ohio at 14 years old, visiting many Columbus hot spots and honky tonk bars performing classic Nashville country and Appalachian folk.
Staying true to his roots, Travis Reid Ball writes and performs his own unique brand of music, paying homage to his biggest influences in classic Nashville country and the often dark Appalachian lyrics touching on the hardships of life, love lost and mournful death.
