I Want To Do Right

I was in the process of writing a blues style song when I received a text from my wife that said “are you writing a gospel song”? I texted her back “No”. Well, the power of suggestion took over and I switched gears and wrote this gospel song. It’s about finding your way back and forgiveness. It’s a fun song and we used instruments on this that I’ve never been a part of. We’ve got Scott Vestal on banjo, synth banjo, Seth Taylor on mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar and myself on electric bass, lead and bass vocals. I also enlisted Jason Owen and Tina Adair on harmony vocals. These musicians and singers knocked it out of the park. I hope you enjoy what we came up with
