Lonely Road

Lonely Road (2:20) J. Dean / J. Jones…BMI…I started writing “Lonely Road” after watching a TV show about a musician whose career was starting to prosper. His wife wasn’t happy about it, so that left him with some decisions to make. I had a good portion of the song written, but then just couldn’t seem to finish it. James Dean came over one night and 20 minutes later, it was done. We did end up adding the bridge, suggested by Steve Gulley, while we were in the studio. I’m happy we did as it really makes this song stand out. – Joey Jones
