There goes my mind again,
saying remember when
And all that might have been
when you still wanted me
But I was cruel to you,
did things you‘d never do
Now I’m thinking of way back then
There goes my mind again

Something inside you died
each time you sat and cried
You tried so hard to see
why I was hiding me
Just like a children’s game
I chose to hide in shame
I’d rather break than bend

My mind just isn’t fair,
it goes away somewhere
Maybe it went with you,

I was too proud to say,
