An Old Man with the Blues
This tale of a formerly famous artist in hard times is a common one in the music world. This location described in this one is the park which ironically contains both "Nashville's Parthenon" and some trees and greenery that often host a down-and-out picker or two. It is curiously and perhaps conveniently located across the road from a bar once frequented nightly by a breed of innovative and renegade country singers and writers, and no doubt many of them spent a night in this park, sleeping off the effects of their revelry and little thinking that down the road this might become a more permanent home.
