Bright Blue World
Stopped at the railroad tracks, another year gone by
Tried to count the cars, but the sun was in my eyes
Broken cross-arm fell like a timer tickin down
Sorta made me wonder if I would ever leave this town

There’s a bright blue world at the end of these here rails
With a big blue sky and a thousand different trails
Gonna let these winds lead me down the path I'm meant to follow
And all those questions I've been askin will be answered with tomorrow
In this bright blue world

All my friends are scattered across these great outdoors
Some got hired, some got married and some are fighting wars
I've never been the kind to stop and settle down
So I'm just going to close my eyes and jump and maybe one day
Maybe one day I'll reach the ground

There’s a bright blue world at the end of these here rails
With a big blue sky and a thousand different trails
Gonna let these winds lead me down the path I'm meant to follow
And all those questions I've been askin will be answered with tomorrow
In this bright blue world

And maybe one day after I’ve sailed every sea
I’ll come back home again and suddenly believe
That it's meant to be, but it's not meant to be

Cuz there’s a bright blue world at the end of these here rails
With a big blue sky and a thousand different trails
Gonna let these winds lead me down the path I'm meant to follow
And all those questions I've been askin will be answered with tomorrow
In this bright blue world
