Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road have just unveiled their brand new single, “Keepers Of The Flame.” This track, deeply rooted in tradition, is the latest release from the chart-topping group’s eagerly awaited Country Grass II project, which will be released at a later date via Pinecastle Records.

"I'm super excited to be releasing a second single from our soon to be released Country Grass II. The last project was such a success, and I had a chance to record with some of the top classic country artists from the past,” says Lorraine Jordan. “This project will be featuring some new artists, including one who was recently Inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and a local classic country band of brothers who grew up in the same eastern part of North Carolina as I did. We'll let you guess who these might be. Stay tuned!"

“Keepers of the Flame” is a haunting ballad crafted by renowned songwriter David Stewart. This poignant track honors the fallen heroes who first ignited the enduring flame of traditional Country music, which has often intertwined with Bluegrass. With lead vocalist Allen Dyer's powerful delivery and Lorraine’s signature harmonies woven throughout, the song strikes a deep emotional chord. Notably, this release is the first Country Grass single showcasing Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road as the sole featured artist. It serves as the follow-up to the project’s previous single “I Loved ‘Em Every One” featuring T.G. Sheppard.

The single is already in rotation at multiple radio stations. Doug Whitley, host of Highway 40 Bluegrass, airing on The Bluegrass Jamboree gave listeners a first-listen of the track. In celebration of the new single, Lorraine’s Coffee House & Music, located in Garner, N.C., is hosting a single release party this evening (May 31). Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to hear the song in person for the very first time. The show will also be simulcast on Facebook on multiple platforms including the official Pinecastle Records page, The Bluegrass Jamboree, Lorraine’s Coffee House & Music, and more!

“As Troubadours, I believe we all have a love to help our music evolve for future generations, as well as holding true to our roots,” says songwriter David Stewart. “There is a flame that burns in all of us for the music and a desire to keep the flame burning for those coming up in the genre and for our heroes who have gone on before us.”

What can music enthusiasts expect from the upcoming Country Grass II project? The band is currently in the studio, recording several new tracks featuring an array of talented artists such as Michael Martin Murphey, T. Graham Brown, Eddy Raven, and Kelly Lang. Stay tuned for more details and surprise guest artists as they are revealed. The album's theme will remain true to the original 2015 release, with each musician adding their unique touch to their featured song. Anticipation has been building over the past couple of years, fueled by a successful social media campaign. Previous videos featuring artists like John Anderson, Jesse Keith Whitley, and Sheppard have garnered millions of views, heightening excitement for the new project.
