STAND & DELIVER

Stand & Deliver was the brainchild of Bob Browne, one of our finest Aussie songwriters, who during the early 80's put together one of the first Aussie rock bushbands.

During their heyday, with their own individual style of bush rock, they packed club auditoriums & landed a recording contract with Bunyip Records, giving me the headache of producing an album of music I was rather unfamiliar with.

But with twelve of Bob's best songs & a bunch of talented muso's we ended up with an album that sold 1000's in its first month of release.

"Nearly Forty" became quite a big hit for the boys, but as is often the case, the band for one reason or another fell apart & Bob went solo.

Bob Browne in my estimation is still one of Australia's great songsmiths & it's a great pity he hasn't attained the pinnacle of success that he so justly deserves.

After many enquiries we have re-released this album on CD to be enjoyed by yet another generation of dinki-di Aussie music lovers.
