Lonesome He's Gone
LONESOME YOUR GONE

Pouring her coffee, sitting alone
Heart broke and lonesome since he’s been gone
Missing the small things, his kisses goodnight
Missing each morning with him by her side

Very few dishes to wash now and then
No one to talk to about where she’s been
The days are much longer, the nights growing cold
Fears life without him, as she’s growing old

She’s heart broke, lonesome your gone

She tries to be social every once in a while
Struggles to find ways to put on her smile
Feeling she’s lost, not sure who she is
Feeling forgotten by some of their friends

She’s heart broke, lonesome your gone

The picture that lives sitting next to her bed
Captures the love the day they were wed
Holding it tightly she tries not to cry
Reliving the heartbreak of saying goodbye

With sadness she visits the grave where he lays
Her moments without him have turned into days
Kneeling down softly on the ground at his stone
Praying for Jesus to soon bring her home.

She’s heart broke, lonesome he’s gone

She’s heart broke, lonesome he’s gone
