Biography
Cold Beer & Broads is a bunch of guys from New York City who spend their meager music earnings on cold beer and broads. We have gals as backup singers, and they like beer too. We're seasoned musicians, so we've had lots of musical influences. We write and record in many genres.

We think JENNIFER ANISTON (WHY ARE YOU MARRIED?) is our most commercial song to date. ELMORE Magazine reviewed it in April 2016, saying "the single is as catchy as it is cheeky, . . . and you'll soon find yourself singing along to the loving, longing chorus."

This song's music video is getting a lot of YouTube views. London-based LOADED Magazine calls the video "quirky and ever-so-slightly eccentric." Check it out here:

All CB&B songs are co-written by Larry Studnicky (the band's main lyricist), John Macom, and Charles Czarnecki (who produces all recordings). The group can be reached through Larry (ljstudnicky3@mac.com or 212-254-0003).

Before coming together as Cold Beer & Broads, our members individually worked with the likes of Pete Townshend, Brian May & Roger Taylor of Queen, Suge Knight (Death Row Records), LL Cool J, Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit JERSEY BOYS, David Clayton Thomas of Blood Sweat & Tears, Billy Crystal (music for the show 700 SUNDAYS), Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, and Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors. Our bass player has performed at The White House twice in the last 8 years.

Our debut EP is called SIX PACK. It was released to radio in the first week of May 2016. The 3 tracks described below all appear on the EP and have all previously received (as singles) broadcast radio play in the USA and overseas.

GET ME HOME BY CHRISTMAS EVE, a country-rock tune, was played during the 2012 Xmas season on over 100 radio stations owned by Cumulus Media plus other AAA and Americana stations. In 2013, thanks to AirPlay Direct, the song spread internationally, reaching (among other countries) Australia, Germany and the UK (where BBC East added it).

FIRST AMENDMENT BLUES (THE F.U. SONG), a Ramones-like pop punk classic, was our 2nd single. It does use the "F word", so we also released a radio edit. That version made the playlists, in Winter-Spring 2014, of dozens of US college radio stations, and charted at several (including Johns Hopkins and U. of Illinois). Sire Records heard this song's profane version and wrote back, "Awesome chorus! Punk rock at its finest." We couldn't agree more.

The music video of the F.U. Song is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnAeZCbRytc

SUMMER GIRL is a surf-inspired soft rock tune (akin to Jimmy Buffett in his prime). It received its US online premier in mid-July 2014 on the website of HIGH TIMES: http://www.hightimes.com/Cold-Beer-Broads-Premiere-Song. It's now being added to AAA, Americana and other station playlists around the country. This Fall, it will be included on the CD sampler bundled with an issue of RELIX magazine.

There's a cool mini-video streaming version of SUMMER GIRL at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uap33uSZ8g0. The official (and provocative) music video will be released in August 2014.

Radio programmers were fans of the FU Song despite being barred from playing it.

"In regards to "First Amendment Blues/FU": I was really disappointed that this song isn't clean! It is fun, upbeat, and a refreshing change to the usual crap I get. The . . . instrumentation and musicianship were stellar, and the lyrics were probably the truest story I've heard in a long time. My faith in the pop-punk genre has been restored!"

- Jonah Zieske, Student Music Director, KSLU, Southeastern Louisiana University.

"HA ha LOL -- ah such true sentiment … I WISH i COULD play that on the Parade! I'm sending it to all my best friends, pronto! First I'm gonna listen to it a few more times! I love it! THANKS for sending it to me!

- Lindsay Ellison, Host of radio show "I Love a Parade", at WMBR in Cambridge, MA.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
