Childhood friends reunite to form Citadel Besieged. Their first project was recorded under the name Darkhaven. Their album entitled Prelude to Haven was never released.
Citadel Besieged’s first album, was written, arranged, and recorded at Distant Refuge Studio during 2010-2011. The title of the cd was The Winter of Evermore.
“Their debut, “The Winter of Evermore”, is a promise that this will not be their final word or chord. Probably based on legends and ancient tales or a pretty good imagination, they produced Epic Heavy Metal with a crust of doom. Also some 70’s aspects and approaches are present here and there. But, metalized sound characterize complete materials, and that’s element is leading detail of band’s performing conception. Their new album, Creation/Damnation was written, arranged, and recorded at Distant Refuge Studio during 2011-2012 and is out now on CD’s and at many digital outlets.

Childhood friends reunite after twenty-three years to form Citadel Besieged. Their first project was recorded in 1987 under the name Darkhaven. Their album entitled Prelude to Haven was never released. The two have collaborated again, creating the group Citadel Besieged. Their new project, cd titled The Winter of Evermore, was written, arranged, and recorded at Distant Refuge Studio during 2010-2011. This cd is now available worldwide. The next project is already under way.
