The Third from his Debut Album CURSED TOWN on Cimsound Records

Tulsa, OK (April 1st, 2013) – Ricky Fugitt, one of the most promising new country singer/songwriters to come out of the Indie Country music scene of TX, OK, KS, is staying busy on the road promoting “Top Shelf Whiskey,” the third single from his debut album Cursed Town, on Cimsound Records.

When asked about the story behind the song, Fugitt says: ” ‘Top Shelf Whiskey” is the ‘exclamation point’ to a weeks end. It’s a freedom gained by that last punch of a time clock. It is simply a working man’s anthem!”

Fugitt has been touring the past year in support of Cursed Town, which was produced and recorded with Stillwater, Oklahoma Red Dirt/Americana veteran, producer/engineer Jeff Parker(Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland, Bob Childers, Tom Skinner & Farmboy). Fugitt and his road band are burning up stages all over the Southern and Central U.S. with dates in KS, OK, TX, MO and AR. Fugitt launched his 2013 tour with the road band “The Tulsa Roadhammers,” performing past and upcoming shows with Reckless Kelly, Wade Bowen, Cody Canada & The Departed, Logan Mize, Neil McCoy and Ronnie Dunn. Additional tour dates are still being added through the end of the year.

Fugitt sums it up best: “I grew up with rodeo and country music influences and have been playing music most of my life, singing anywhere there was a spot to sing. To be able to continue to deliver my music to radio and to the fans is awesome. I am living the dream!”
