Johnny Cash laid his hand on the top of my head, when I was only 7 years old.
It was out in my brothers yard ,and to hear my Mama tell it , you would think I was blessed by the Pope.
I can’t say what it was that set me on this path, but that’s as good a reason as most.
I have charted my whole life, using 3 stars to guide me.

The First time I ever heard Bobby Dylan sing, I was just about 17 years old.
It was “Tangled up in Blue” and the next thing I knew, I was writing songs of my very own.
I can’t say what it was that set me on this path, but that’s as good a reason as most.

My Mama would take me to church every Sunday,(as a child),we stand and sing loud and clear.
The Deacons would open every window, so the Holy Ghost could hear.
