( written in her own words )
I was born Diana Sue Heller in canton,Illinois April 8,1952.
When I was a little girl , I was inspired by my mother, father, and uncle Dick . Music played a big part in our home ,
my dad and uncle Dick played the guitar and sang along with my mother and I. My three sisters Bernita,Leona, Juanita and my brother Leroy grew up together. When I was younger , I always wanted to be like Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells , Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette . When I was six years old , my folks took me to the Grand Ole Opry, I asked if I could sing on stage , and was told to come back when I grew up . I started out in my twenties , but got side tracked raising a family , which always came first . Two boys, Shawn and Paul and lastly , a daughter Buffy . I would sing my babies to sleep with songs from my favorite singers .
When I was in my 30's I went to Anchorage,Alaska, singing with a country music band in the Buckaroo club.
I was 47 when i wrote my first song...."Baby I Tried" , sold 200 CD's. Then left Alaska, and came home to Illinois,
worked with Cliff Ayers , a producer who helped promote my song . In 2004 ,I made my first album " I'm playing second fiddle " with the help of Bruce Goodman . I got a plaque for Vocalist of the year 2006, and one for Country Pop Golden Vocalist in 2007 for the song " Baby I Tried " for the Entertainer Indi-Association 36th Awards show. In 2008, I started working with Keith Bradford, who is now my producer and have a new CD out " Heroes Never Die " , which also includes my song " Baby I Tried " , and at the present I'm continuing to work with KMA records in Nashville,Tn
