ON HOBO'S WINGS
This is one of two great songs on this album written by a very talented song writer friend of mine in Canada. His name is Thom Gardiner. The song idea came to him while he was driving through a city in the cold of winter when his little girl noticed a homeless person living in a cardboard box. She proceeded to question him and this song was born. The Wings reference came from the hobos calling the railroads they illegally hitched rides on across the country, their wings. A very touching song.
