After building overwhelming anticipation, Caroline Owens releases her highly anticipated debut single “Heartbreak Train” via Skyline Records.

The music industry has seen its fair share of talented musicians over the years. From virtuosos to prodigies, there's no shortage of artists who have left an indelible mark in their respective genres. However, once in a generation, an artist comes along who simply defies categorization – one who can sing with such control and passion where that person can command a room with both their voice and presence. Caroline Owens is that next generation artist, and her talent, grace, and personality are sure to transcend the bluegrass industry.

Aged just 21 years old, Caroline is a rising star in the bluegrass industry, possessing multiple IBMA nominations and amassing an enormous number of social media followers. Hailing from Denton, NC , Caroline started singing in church at the early age of 2 years old. Around the age of 13, she discovered and shifted over to singing bluegrass music. Shortly after picking up the "bluegrass bug”, Caroline began entering local fiddlers conventions, and took home numerous 1st place vocal prizes. In 2019, Caroline was named the IPHC “Vocal Instrumentalist of the Year”, and “Songwriter of the Year.” Caroline's combination of vocal talent and work ethic have resulted in numerous awards. It is safe to say there will be more awards in her future.

“Heartbreak Train” was written by Caroline and produced by Darin Aldridge. According to Caroline, “Heartbreak Train was written from a point of love loss. It mirrors that place that we’ve all been in, at some point in our lives. It’s something that I believe everyone will relate to when they hear it, and will bring back those feelings of what it felt like to endure that heartbreak. “

The song’s dynamic introduction draws the listener in and leads right into Caroline’s powerful and thrilling vocals. With every note she sings, Caroline demonstrates her exceptional range and control, leaving listeners in awe. While Caroline has certainly been influenced by the work of Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton, she is determined to take her music in new and exciting directions.

Now poised to join the pantheon of bluegrass greats, her tireless energy, positivity and drive will not allow Caroline to settle for anything other than greatness. In 2023 watch as Caroline begins her ascent to the top.
