Minneapolis-Moline
Hot off the success "That's Alright," Turnberry Records announces the release of another single, "Minneapolis- Moline," from Caleb Bailey & Paine's Run.

"Minneapolis-Moline" is an original song written by Caleb Bailey, who is quickly garnering attention as one of bluegrass music's up-and-coming songwriters and has recently been dubbed the Virginia Storyteller. The song offers a unique perspective, capturing the plight of an Indiana farm family and their tractor, a Minneapolis-Moline. Caleb Bailey & Paine's Run takes the listener through the life of an impoverished Midwest childhood, but one that is rewarding and romanticized.

"So many people sing about John Deere, International Harvesters, and so on, I thought it would be cool to write about a tractor that may have been forgotten, 'Minneapolis-Moline,’ said Bailey. “The Midwest farming community is the backbone of our agriculture industry, and I think this song will resonate with the beauty and the struggle of life on the farm."

Indiana native, Ron Stewart, of The Boxcars and Seldom Scene fame, provided exceptional fiddle and banjo work and mixed and mastered the single. Also joining Bailey on this track is Brandon Kyle on bass, Wyatt Wood on guitar and tenor vocals, and Chandler Beavers on mandolin. This song was recorded at Homestead Studio by Caleb Cox, showcasing a collaboration of talented musicians.

"Being a Hoosier myself, this song tells exactly how it is in the farming communities throughout the state. Many hardships, but also, a great way of life. This song tells it from the seat of the family's tractor, the 'Minneapolis-Moline," said Tony Holt, Wildwood Valley Boys.

Bailey's talents extend beyond singing, songwriting, playing guitar, and leading a band. He recently announced the formation of a brand new bluegrass festival he is producing called No Bull…Just Bluegrass Festival, to be held in July 2025 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

“Minneapolis-Moline” is now available at all major outlets and to radio programmers at Get It Played, Turnberry Records, and Hope River Entertainment.
