Bad Gravity
Bad Gravity

Call me chameleon, I blend in but I’m dreaming
Of a world that’s much different than this.
Call me alien from a far away planet
Big enough where my heart would fit

Before these lips part, thoughts are screened and examined
Desires are checked and pushed deep where it’s secret and dark

Something strong has got a hold of my heart
Something quite wrong has got a hold of my heart
And it must be some bad gravity
Maybe it’s some of that dark energy

Innocent and laughing, happy and carefree
In every way my counter part
I’m pulled in directions by confused affections
I thought I’d outgrow but did not
Before your lips part, let’s agree I’m unlucky
And if you were like me, could you bear wear this mark

Something strong has got a hold of my heart
Something quite wrong is pulling on my heart
Must be some bad gravity
Maybe it’s some of that dark energy
Pulling me apart

Though my mind wants no part
These feelings grow stronger the further and longer I stay away and alone and apart
Something strong has got a hold of my heart
Something quite wrong has got a hold of my heart
And it must me some bad gravity

I guess I’d change if it were up to me
If it were only that easy
