Versatile would be a fitting word to describe Brian Matthew. Brian is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and has performed in many bands over the years, playing a wide variety of music including jazz, rock, blues, funk, latin, psychedelic and just about anything. Brian plays many different instruments including guitar, bass, trumpet, piano, mandolin, ukelele, and sings lead as well as harmony vocals. Along with his solo work, Brian currently plays guitar/trumpet and sings lead and harmony vocals in the band "Deep Fryd" based in Visalia, CA. He is also an occasional trumpet/guitar player in the bands "Green Machine" and "The Well." Brian has recorded with members of Tower Of Power, War and Social Distortion, and has performed with jazz greats Steve Allen, Chuck Findley, Jeff Hamilton, Ernie Watts and Gary Foster.
