Grandpa fell in the arborvitae
Don't you know it's true
Grandpa fell in the arborvitae
There ain’t nothin’ else he could do

he leaned that ladder up on the farmhouse
he was makin' some repairs
he started fallin' and he reached for the roof
and all he caught was air
