Brant Croucher Releases "Blanco County Lights"
Texas-based singer-songwriter Brant Croucher is proud to announce the release of Blanco County Lights, a full-length studio album produced by Jack Saunders (White Cat Studios, Houston, TX).

The 11-track “Americana” project – an ambitious, eclectic representation of Croucher’s vast musical interests and influences – features folk-inspired acoustic songs, swampy groove-driven tunes, toe-tapping country numbers, and a pair of thoughtful, piano-driven ballads.

Blanco County Lights has already found success on the radio in Europe, grabbing the #9 spot on the Euro-Americana Chart in December 2014. The record will ship to U.S. Americana, Country, and Folk radio outlets on January 12th.

Croucher was born and raised in Houston, schooled in Denton, TX and has since spent time all over the USA, living in Dallas, Nashville, Austin, and Wimberley. Appropriately, the album’s songs explore themes of moving around -- and moving on -- while finding a way to make life as an aspirant troubadour work.

Such themes aren’t new to the genre, but Croucher approaches them with a genuine, no-frills openness and honesty, delivering each with a strong vocal presence, supported by a guitar or piano.

In addition to Croucher, Blanco County Lights includes musical performances by Jack Saunders, Matt Harlan, Rick Richards, Eleanor Whitmore (The Mastersons), Sam Austin, Willy T. Golden, Lloyd Maines, Riley Osbourn, Lainey Balagia & Libby Koch.
