Calgary Stampede

When I first met my good Canadian friend Annette Barkley, she was telling me about her time in Calgary, Alberta, where she had lived for several years before moving to Nashville. Annette was describing the Calgary Stampede and all the activities that go on in the town around that time. I began writing down all the things as she was listing them and after she finished I said "We need to write that song."
