Back to the Ranch (featuring Bernie Nelson, lead vocals)

Although this song was set in the late 1800's it was written from stories I heard growing up on a cattle ranch in Texas. It is a tribute to the working cowboys I knew as a kid and the kind of life they lead. It is also a story of a young man who is learning a life lesson and has a lot of time to ponder the wisdom of things he has been told by his elders as he walks back to the ranch in rain storm.
