Redbird in the Snow

This song was written when my first child was born during a harsh winter. I was snowed in on a January day in my house in Tennessee when I looked out the window and saw a cardinal flying around in the snow. The feeling of new parenthood and the beauty the redbird against the white snow inspired the song.
